Received 12, 12.28 a in. Berlin, January 11. Von Renter was acquitted on the ground that he was justified in protecting an officer'* honor, the police having failed in their duty, and von ReutW ' having cause to fear disorders and bloodshed. The oourt-martial quashed von Foent-* ner's sentence on the ground that he ihftd cause to fear that Blank was about to attack him with a. knife.
