Mr. IL CCameron, who is the immigration office* attached to the High Comniissionert staff, recently travelled over England «nd personally selected the majority *f tho boys. They ihave all had some farming experience at Home, ranging from two to six years. Their age* rim from sixteen to twenty years, and their ' average height is sft fiin. The biggest lad of the party is Joha * Halloran, who has been farming for six •£. years at Moyasla, County Clare. He i» <■ ■a veritable young giant, twenty year* ■» of age. standing fift 2iii high, and weighing 13st, Next comes Sydney Pledger, from Stoke-by -Clare, Susser, wn* reaches Oft in height and weights list £ reaches Oft in height and weighs 12»t ''•'* Sweeney, who hails from County Kerry, ifc weighs ]-2st 71b and measures sft l<%in. ■".. •The 'baby" of the group is Stanley . ; Baker, who has been «t farm work since .; he was ton years old, and bis age now is - J fifteen years. Tho first year they arc to receive 7b M a week, and out of thin each farmer ■ must give his lad Is for pocket money.
