A visit, of inspection was alterwards made to the Dor Cold Alining Sluicing C-omoaiiv's claim, and the party witnessed the wa.-diing-up proce.-s. His Excellency was pruentcd with an onnee of gold from the return. The Hon. Eraser reco'vcl a nu'nlr-r of deputations in regard to local requirements, and loft for the north in the afternoon.
