The Westminster liazelle states that Lister negotiations continue without any untoward incident. The Morning Post says that negotiations between Messrs. Asquith and Bonar Law have proved abortive. Mr. Asquith was unable, to accede to the even limited exclusion of Ulster. NO SOLUTION 01' THE PROBLEM. PARTY LEADERS HAVE NOT CONFERRED. Received 9, 12.5 a.m. London, January ,8. The Daily Telegraph asserts, on the highest authority, that the attempt to find a solution of the Ulster problem has failed. The reports that Mr. Asquith and Mr. Bonar Law had met were without foundation. PROTESTAST IXIOXIST MINORITY. REPRESENTATION IN IRISH lIOUSK. Received 8, 10.30 p.m. London, .lanuary 8. M'v. T. Lough, M.P. (Liberal) for | Islington West, believes that the people si' Ulster would give favorable consideration to Home Itule if the Protestant Unionist minority received larger representation. Mr. Lough and others suggest that during the first twenty years, ! the membership of the Irish House ot Jommons is 10-1, the minority allocated should be seventy seats. ,
