A wedding in which was centred consjderable interest was celebrated in Stratford on Thursday afternoon at the Broadway Methodist Church, the contracting partiej being Miss Florence Cnthbert. until recently a popular member of Hie leaching stall' of the Stratford District lli>;h School, and the only daughter of Mr. and .Mrs. T. ('ntlibeit, (;? I'ciuhroke road, and Mr. Stanley Robert Fraser Sharp, of Stratford, second son of the l'ev. Sharp, lilufi'. The bride was attended by Miss Kthel. Sharp, the bridegroom's sister, as bridesmaid, and there were, two pretty little flower girls and two train-bearers, Misses llaztl Corkins and Kita Jleaiichamp, and Misses Mavis Beaucliamp and Kita Falgecumbe, respectively. The dressing effects were charming. The bride wore an elegant gown of shell-pink charnictise, draped with ninon, and trimmed with guipure hire, the court train being ornamented
with silver silk brocade and bordered in pale pink rucked ninon. She wore
beautiful veil over her wreath of crange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet. Miss Sharp's dress was of pale blue satin euiirni: use. trimmed with white law and net: and slie wore
a white tagel straw hat. trimmed wills pale 1)1 lie \vii!;js. Tiis llowcr-girls wore white dresses of a pretty silk masquerette, witli pleated frills', and wore veils over coronet-; oi' white roses, whilst currying baskets of white blooms. The little train-bearers wcru also in white, of hailstone muslin, trimmed with vnloucieniies late t;nd insertion, and wore veils and while rose wreaths. Air. Jaci< Cuthbert. brother of the bridegroom, was best man. and her father fjavc the bride awav. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a pretty opera cloai* of .l-apane-te >ilk; to I'm bridesmaid a gold necklace mid p: ndant; to (he llower-pirls, gold neck chain's; and to the train-bearers, silver bangle*.
