The dispute continues between the British Medical Association and the friendly societies with no immediate prospect of adjustment. Both sides are ih t ermined. In some cases temporary agreements have been signed on the ledges' terms. The British Medical Association in ottiers absolutely refused. Friendly societies in other places ha\e appointed doctors on the old scale. It is staled that plenty of applications have been received for these appointments.
