CARRIXCTON IIUAD SPECIAL BATING AREA, No. 1. at a Special Meeting of the Council of the County of Kgmont, held on Friday the 12th day of December, 1913, the following resolution was adopted: In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by '•The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908." and amendments thereof, and "The New Zealand Slate Guaranteed AdCounty Cc follows: — "That for ' the Egmont eliv resolves as ill for the purpose of providing the inlere-t and other charges on a loan of £4OO (to cover a Government grant of £4oo} authorised to be raised by the Kgmont Comity Council under the above mentioned Acts for ailing, aiel improving the Carrijigton road between the PuniIki Road and the Xewall Road, iu the County of Kgmont, the said Kgmont County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of five-seventeenths (5-17ths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Special Eating area, and ihat such Special Eate shall be an annual recurring rale dining the currency of such loan, and lie payable yearly on the lirsl day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of. thirty-six and a-lialf years, or until the loan is fully paid oil', the rate of interest to be iK per cent.
