Poincare preceded the State ball, at which 2500 .guests were present. MM. Poincare and Pichon (French Minister for Foreign Affairs) had a long conference with Sir Edward Grey and Sir Walter Nicholson (Government Un-der-Secretary for Foreign Affairs) and discussed the Balkans and practically all matters of mutual interest. No document was signed, but complete accord was revealed. The King and other Royalties said farewell to President Poincare at Victoria station.
