Our representative has personally inspected. the cattle and pronounced them a first-class lot. The cows have been well eared for, are in good condition, nearly all early calvers, and the whole are in-calf to the pedigree Jersey bulls, Campfire and Ilalley's Comet. The average test for the season 1911-12 was 4.8, and for tho present season 4.9. Mr. Hoskin's stock are so well and favorably known that further comment is unnecessary; his herd is considered one of the best in South Taranaki.
