Everything contributed to make the affair an immense success. The floor was good, and the supper, provided by the ladies, was excellent. A programme of about 20 dances was heartily en joyed'by all, and the gathering broke up'about 1 a.m., nil thoroughly satisfied with the evening s e.nj,n Kieni. A feature of the evening was the delightful dance music, provided by an orchestra consisting of tlio Cottier family (piano, picolo, violin and double bass) and Messrs M. This combination furnished music quite out of the ordinary run of dance music, and materially contributed to the success of the social.
