I EGMONT RACING CLUB. COMMITTEE MEETING. At a committee meeting of the Egmont Racing Club on Thursday, a notification was received to the effect that the valuation of the club's racecourse property had been raised to £65 per acre. The valuation for the property and improvements now stands at £10,807. The Taranaki Jockey Club wrote regretting that it was unable to agree to change dates with the Egmont Racing Club for their respective February race meetings. The secretary presented an interim balance-sheet in connection with the recent winter meeting, which showed an approximate profit of £ll3B.
