THE WINTER SHOW.
YESTERDAY'S PROCEEDINGS. There was a very fair attendance yesterday at the Winter Show, when a gentleman vocalist from Auckland rendered several songs, both during the afternoon and evening performances. The same gentleman has kindly consented to repeat the performance today, which is the last day on which the Great Show will be open. There should be a good attendance to-day, as it provides a fine opportunity for"country people to visit the Show after viewing the Dreadnought. The prices have been reduced as follows:—Gentlemen Is. ladies fid, children 3d, and at nine o'clock tonight the result of the guessing competition for the cake will be announced. A feature of the evening will be the "brcaking-up" ceremony, which takes the form of a grand concert. Quite a number of our most talented performers have volunteered their services, and the evening promises to be a pleasant one.
