A FRACTIOUS HORSE.
MAN TRAMPLED UPON

Auckland, Saturday. M Buckland and Sons' saleyards yesterday the racehorse Luperin, when bein;; exercised for the benefit of buyers, became fractious, and knocked down, six men, three of whom were more or less seriously injured, The 'horse struck .William Patterson, an- elderly man, with Jta front feet, and threw him on the ground, where he was trampled upon. John Delaney and J. Winters were also liadly hurt', and the two latter were removed to tlie hospital. It is- feared Patterson is injured internally. Delaney's injuries are not serious.
