A detachment of infantry and- cavalry surrounded a block of buildings while the soldiers, and firemen climbed to adjacent roofß. ' The assassins refused to surrender, ■.' and fired on the troops with Revolvers. .The fusiHade lasted an hour,'until the hackstairs were captured. None of the -, assassins was wounded. Ali is a fire brigade lieutenant, and Kazira a Circassian captain.
