NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The Ngw Plymouth Club intend purchasing a silver champion cup with the donation which Mr. Standisli gave last year. The cup will remain the property of the Club and cannot be won by any member. This afternoon, on tlie Waiwakaiho links a medal round for St. Andrew's Cross will be played for by the Seniors. There will also be a competition for the others. On Tuesday afternoon a game will be played against, the Stratford .and Inglewood Club. The Captain will feel obliged if those players able to play on Tuesday will kindly inform him to-day On Saturday 21st, a men's foursome (medal) will be played, players to choose their own partner or opponents, short handicap players to play with long handicap players. The wearing of long spikes in their boots by the- men, and narrow heels by the lady players, always do' damage to the greens, especially in wet Weather.
