PASSIVE RE.SISTERS. Timaru, Last Night. The Magistrate to-day fined J. Crombie, a solicitor's clerk, £3 and deprived him «f civil rights for five years, for failing to comply with the requirements of the Defence Act. Defendant liad previously been fined ,C 1 and £2 costs. Sixteen others were fined £2, four £l, ivjjd four 10s costs.
