HANDSOME BEQUESTS. London, Jnne 9. The estate of the late Sir Richard Nicholson, who carried out the surveys of the towns of Wanganui and Dunedin, is valued .at £880,278. He had been blind for the last four years . He donated £36,(100 to various institutions tor the blind, including' the Opthalmic Hos-piti-.i. and £12,000 to the Solicitors' Bene\ment Association. • •
