SERIOUS EXPLOSION.
A SUBMARINE WRECKED,

London, June 9. An explosion occurred. on submarine E5, while she was running on the surface- in the Bristol Channel. The explosion destroyed the engines, killed the engineer, and seriously injured four of the crew. It also burnt seven stokers. The engineer and Commander Moore are in a critical state. Their legs were broken, and one had to be amputated.
