EMPIRE PICTURES. There was not a vacant seat at the Empire Pictures on Saturday evening, when the new programme, with its host of excellent films; please 4 everybody. 'A Napoleonic dramft, '(Death-, or Glory," was the "star" item, and proved to be one of the finest big pictures patronß have yet had the opportunity of seeing. Many famous actors nave played the'part of Napoleon, and a new interpretation of the character is always worth witnessing. The story is a very simple one, but the acting is far above the ordinary, and the film throughout shows that the manufacturers'haviß Spared nc pains in giving the public what they' want—the best. "The Stolen Symphony" is warranted to please everyone, for it is one of the Lubin Company's masterpieces. A young composer forces his manuscript on a great pianist, who attempts to persuade the public that the symphony is his own composition. A girl friend of the composer comes to his rescue, and the film tells how the pianist was outwitted. The supporting, pictures are all good, notably two remarkably beautiful scenic pictures, one showing rural scenes in England. To-night the same bill will be given.

THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. The Rovnl Pictures are showing a magnificent now programme at the Theatre l!oyal to-night. Included on the list is a 3000 foot picture, magnificently colored, and portrayed by a selected company of the leading picture players, entitled "The Weaker Vessel." There are also two shorter dramatic studies "Signal of Distress," by the Vitagraph Coy., featuring Florence Turner, and a fine hdison picture "Letters to a Princess," being another of those popular portrayals of - What Happened to Mary," fea\f!! ng r n Wln3 ? me ■ actress, Miss M.tiy Fuller.
