On Monday, 2nd inst., at my.Urenui yards, owing to the rough weather, there, was only a small entry,' but a good at-{ tendance of the public. A good number of fat' cows were yarded, these gelling very readily. SOUTHERN MARKETS. ADDINGTON. The attendance at the Addington stock market was good, and well up* to the average of recent sales. The range of prices was as under ;-r-Tegs, to £llos 3d; average weights, 16s to* 19s; light and unfinished, 14s to 15s 6d; the range of 3 values for extra prime wethers was £1 ■> 16s; prime, £1 0s Gd to £1 6s fld; others, 17s to £1; ewes, prime, 18s to £1 3s;" medium, 15s to 17s 6d; aged and light, lis to lis Gd; merino wethers, 17s Cd; merino ewes, 10s., • Fat catle: Steers, made £7 17s Gd- to £ll 10s; extra; to £ls; heifers, £5 17s Cd to £9 12s 6d; and cows, £5 15s to £lO J 10s; fait calves, to £3 10s for ordinary sorts, extra realising to £5. Store cattle to 18-month sorts made £2 2s Gd to £3 3s J 6d; cows, £1 10s to £4 2s Gd. Dairy cows, £4 5s to £8 10s for ordinary; extra good making to £lO 15s. An especially good cow was passed at £l2 10s. Pigs: Choppers, £3 10s to £7; heavy baeoners, £3 7s 6d to £ 15s, and lighter sorts, £2 Jss to £3 ss, or equal to 5%d 1 per lb. Heavy porkers brought £2 5s to £2 10s, and lighter, £2 to £2 4s, equivalent to Gd per lb. Stores: Best sorts, £1 14s to £1 19s 9d, and smaller pigs, £1 2s to £1 13s. Weaners brought, 9s to 14s.
