A CONVICT MUTINY
DESPERATE PRISONERS. A WARDER STRANGLED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 0, 12.5 a.m. St. Petersburg, June C. Twenty convicts at Butorsky Gaol, Moscow, secured a cord, wherewith they intended to strangle the warders and utilise their uniforms to gain their freedom. The convicts strangled l one and wounded three others. Shouts of alarmed warders brought in the soldiers, and four mutineers were wounded, and the others overpowered.
