SALVATION ARMY CONGRESS. Per Press Association. Wellington. Last Night. The Salvation Army Congress, which was formally opened last night, spent to-day discussing routine matters concerning the organisation of the Army in New Zealand. Various proposals were outlined by Commissioner Richards, and many suggestions relating thereto were received, hut no definite decisions are yet announced. FARMING MATTERS. Hamilton, Last Night. The Waikato Dairy Shorthorn Breeders' Association has been formed at Hamilton, the first in the Dominion. A large meeting of Waikato pig breeders affirmed the principle of insurance of pigs as a recompense for the large number condemned by the Government.
