CIRCULAR ROAD RACE. A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Circular Road Race was held last night, Mr. Geo. Tabor presiding over a good attendance. The alteration of the date of the race from 'Sept, 4 to Sept. 11, owing to the Auckland-Taranaki football match falling on September 4, was confirmed. .A- George, who was appointed to visit Wellington in connection with the race, reported that he had had a very successful trip, being promised the following donations: E. Reynolds and Co., Ltd., Rudge bicycle; J. B. Clarkson & Co., Ltd., genuine factory-built B.S.A. bicycle; Jiiglis Bros.. Rex bicycle; Magnus .Sanderson, Ltd., Mollis bicycle.; A. G. Healing and Co., Coponents bicycle: Cycle and Motor Supplies, £ls 15s cash and set of motor cycle tyres; E. W. Pidgeon, set motor cycle tyres; Dunlop Rubber Company, gold medal valued £5 5s for fastest time; Continental Rubber Co., set motor cycle tyres and set bicycle tyres; Adams Ltd., £1 Is, Arnold George, set of bicycle tyres, and Brown Bros, Birmingham, silver cup valued ±7 10s to fastest Taranaki rider, to be won three times.
