Adams) 1 , The Native (H. McSweeney), Okaihau (A. McFlynn), Red McGregor (H. Futcher), Dorando (Mr. A. Gordon), Bercola (J. Lyford), and Bismarck (J. O'Connell).
When Glenmore won the Wanganui Steeplechase he carried 10.9, aind Do" rando 10.1, so that the latter is meeting Glenmore on 101b better terms to-day. Dorando will be much improved by his recent racing, and many pick him to reverse the positions with Glenmore.
A very poor , field is' engaged in the ! Retoiicra Hurdles;' Chief Mats Hal and ,St. Kevin will divide favoritism! ' Stiij Kevin's weight as telegraphed, Seems' too good to be true. Probably the correct impost is 9.10. •Northern scribes state that Sea Pink ws> very unlucky to lose the big Flat Handicap on Saturday, and will be a very warm order in the Bracelet today.
Haskayne was the best backed in thej Cornwall Handicap on the first day, but was unlucky and may do better to-day.
