BIBLE IN SCHOOLS. Per Press Association. Hawera, Saturday. Dr. Cleary, Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland, addressed a largely attended public meeting last night. A resolution against the Bible-in-Schools movement was carried. THE STEAMER INGA. Dargaville, May 31. The steamer Inga is discharging her cargo at Aoroa and will probably have to be wholly lightened before the extent of the damage is revealed . ROUGH SEA ON THE EAST COAST. Gisborne, May 31. Heavy seas are running off the coast, indicating an ocean disturbance. On the voyage from Napier, the Maitai shipped a heavy sea, which washed through the saloon, a number of passengers getting their belongings wet.
