MOUNT LYELL COMPANY.

HALF-YEARLY MEETING. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, May 31.. . At the half-yearly meeting of the Mount Lyell Company the chairman stated it was expected that the whole of the 1100 ft. level would be free of water early next week. The output now was 200 tons a day, and it was expected to restore the normal output of 2500 tons by the end of June. •The Lyell Comstock mine is opening up better than was expected.
