SUPPOSED SUICIDE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The police have received word from liororata of the death of a widower named Thos. Barson, at 5.15 p,m yesterday, from gun-shot wound, supposed to be self-inflicted. Deceased was a. gardener. FOUND DROWNED. Ashburton, Last Night. At the adjourned inquest touching the death of Jasepli Walter Stephens, who was found drowned in the Domain Swnn- 1 ining Bath on May 23, the Coroner returned a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane.
