AN EARTHQUAKE.
SHARP SHOCK IN MELBOURNE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 30, 9.35 p.m. Melbourne, May 29. There was a short, sharp earthquake shock this morning. There were preliminary tremors at 8.35, and the maximum was at 8.37. All the disturbances ceased at 8.46.
