At the trial of Cecil Chesterton for alleged libel, Mr. Herbert Samuel gave evidence that during the negotiations he did not know any of. his colleagues were shareholders in the American company. He refused to assent-to Mr. God-" frey Isaacs's suggestion that he should treat the clause terminating the agreement at any time as a secret one. ■ PARTY FEELING. . '.
