The poultry section has been ,very liberally treated in the shitpe of'trophies.- A silver eup and various medals having been donated by the Society and -private individuals, and it is pleasing to note that many new exhibits are being attracted ! to our show. ;Spme .interesting special displays are also promised, among them being a fine «olleotion of South African curios, lion skins, leopard skins, etc.. which Mr. 0. Hoby has offered to the Society and also a fine collection of china and old silver made during the reign of one of the Georges, which Mrs. Enroth is' showing. : Farmers intending to enter' for . the £10! 10s gold watch ■ offered', by Messrs. E. Griffiths and Co., for: the'best two acres of swedes grown from ".Carton's s n ed and Shamrock' Turnip Manure supplied by them or thwr-ageiith are reminded that entries close with the .secretary, Mr. A. L. Humphries, to-morrow.
