At the wool sales the market "showed great buoyancy and competition was keen. Greasy reached 13d and scoured 25% d, the highest in vSydney since the 1907-8 sales. WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. Poultry.—At the Mart on Saturday our pens were well filled with birds of all classes. Prices were as under:—Hens, young, Is Gd to Is lid, fat, 2s to 2s 0d; cockerels, young, Is 3d to is Od, fat 2s 3d to 2s 9d; ducks. Is Od to 2s; drakes, Is 8d to 2s 3d; pullets, young, 3s to 3s Gd; forward, 4s to 7s Gd; drakes 2s 9d to 3s; turkey hens, 4s Gd to ss.
The usual line of auction sundries realised satisfactory rates. On Saturday we held a clearing sale on account of the Taranaki Farmers' Company on
