Applications to transfer were dealt with as follows: —J. Potter to J. and G. Potter, section 2, block 6, Heao, 262 acres; 11. Russell to Clara Smith, section 4, block 2, Aria, 250 acres; J. I'. After further consideration of the exceptional circumstances it was resolved to permit her to register the transfer. Applications to sub-lease were approved as follows:—R. Mapt to W. G. Tucker, section 38, block XVI,, iEgmont, 127 [ acres; S. Metcalf to G. S. Hobbs, 101 acres, Education Reserve, part section | 107, block 2, Ngaire; C. Morris to G. D. and L. B. Parsons, section 57, block 10, Kaupokonui, 241 acres. A new lease of section 8, block 11, j Cape, to C V. Shaw was granted, simi--1 lar action being taken in the application, of E. W. A. Hughes for six months' time to reside on section 5, block 2, Heao. An application by R. Roth for reduction in valuation of section 14, block 16, Ohura, from £5 to £2 10s was declined The application of E. W. A. Hughes for six months' time to reside on section 5, block 2, Heao, was approved. Messrs. Meyenberg Bros applied for milling rights over section 13, block 1, Piopiotea West district, but it was resolved that the timber be appraised and offered at auction J G. S. Hobb's application for a lease of section 8, block 11, Omona .was approved at a rental of £2 from year to year In the application of F. G. and M. M. Carthew and E. G. IT. Perry for 20 acres, part township reserve section 22, block 11, Omona south district, it was resolved that section be subdivided and i a report made on the claims of adjacent owners with a view to their obtaining homestead sites. Consideration of a church site for the > Church of England at Matiere was postponed pending receipt of a definite application. Other applications approved were? — E. E. Bennett for additional land adjoining section 17, block 2, Aria; A. M. Bodie lease of section 27, block 12, Ngaire, for 7 years at £7 10s per annum; T. Hegglin, lease of section 12,1) lock 5. Mahoe, and section (i, block lfi, Upper Waitara, as second-class land; to certify inuteT section 30, sub-section (1) of the Land Laws Amendment Act 1912, that the j following are entitled to Crown grants: ! —Section 33, block 15, Aria (T.
