DOMINION DAIRY SHOW.
EVENT OF THE YEAR. One of the chief events of the year —the Dominion Dairy Show (Uawera) —will be celebrated on t'he 25th, 2(!th, 27th anil 28th of June, and the indications point to even greater success than has hitherto attended these popular exhibitions, which is saying a good dual. With, a structure covering 50,003 square feet under one roof, Haw era can boost of having the largest and most up-to-date show building in the North Island, and those who contemplate exhibiting —whether in machinery, dairy produce, poultry, dogs, or any of the other numerous. sections to be found in the cata-logs—-can rest assured of having commanding positions for the display of their entries. An attractive feature in connection with this year's show is the large number of special prices, reaching close upon 130, poultry alone securing OS. Another feature will be the district schools' display of farm produce, eight entries having been received for this event. Last year Okaiawa School made the ,only display in this section, and it will be recollected -what an attractive exhibit it was. Year by year the number attending the #how has increased, until in 1918 it reached the excellent total of 14,000; and it is believed these figures will be largely overtopped this year. All information in connection with the show may be obtained on application to the secretary, Mr. A. M. Conroy, Box 174, Hawera.
