SUTTON CAMP OUTRAGE.
HEAVY FINES IMPOSED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Tuesday. Jos. C. Rigby. Thomas A. Bunlmrry, Cecil J. S. Nicholson, Herbert 1 ' Thompson, and Robert Kirkness, who on Wednesday pleaded guilty to assaulting a Daily Times reporter at Sutton camp, were this morning each fined £5 and costs, in default one month's imprisonment. Mr. Widdowson, S.M., said defendants' conduct could only be described as verv serious. It was a cowardly, unjustifiable assault.
