COURT-MARTIAL.

WARSHIP WRECKS VESSEL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, May 19. The court-martial of Captain Guy Gaunt, of H.M.S. Centurion, which collided with and sank the Italian vessel Derna in the English Channel last December, has commenced. The prosecution alleges that the high speed of the Centurion was responsible for the disaster.

The prosecution alleges that the Centurion's speed was not properly considered. Her course should have been altered both before and after the collision and further search for the Derna should have been made.
