ROYAL GOLF CLUB. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 19, 11 p.m. Melbourne, May 19. Brooks won the Royal Golf Club cham-| pionship with 246. The runner-up was Riddell with 250. NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The New Plymouth Club will play a. match at lnglewood on Thursday against the local club. The team, which will leave by the 12.50 train, will comprise: Messrs. F. S. Johns, W. C. Weston, W. Bewley, J. Paton, S. J. Smith, C. H. Burgess, D. K. Morrison, J. Johnston, J. Austin, G. M. Kebbell, A. Goldwater and F. Honan. j At a special meeting of the New Plymouth Golf Club on Saturday evening ; to consider the question of alterations to the rules, it was decided that playing members of the Waitara and lnglewood chibs should be eligible to become country members. It was also resolved to institute the following charges as ground fees'for visiting players:—Men, Is 6d per day, 5s per week, or 15s per month; ladies, Is per day, 2s 6d per week, or 7s 6d per month. In the ease of interclub competitions there will be no charges for ground fees. Visiting players will include 11 the members of the Tttrahua'and Witiork Clubs.'
