Canterbury 3%d North Island 4%d. Lamb.—The market is quiet, with a tendency in favour of buyers. There is good demand for all lamb. Canterbury o%d, other than Canterbury 0y B d. Beef.—The market is firmer, with better demand on account of the high prices for. mutton and lamb. New Zealand hinds ojid; fores 3%d. . ; Butter. —The market is steady with very good demand for best quality, but Is/lightly weaker with less demand for second class.
