RIFLE SHOOTING.
MANGOREI RIFLE CLUB v. B COM-' PANY, NEW PLYMOUTH. !. A rifle match, eight men a side, was •fired at Mangorei on- Saturday afternoon I between the B Company, 11th Regiment and the local Rifle Club. The match, which was fired at 300 and 500 yards ranges, 10 shots at each, resulted in a win for Mangorei by 25 points. The win is the more meritorious as it -was the first match fired at Mangoi rei this season. Some very good scores | were registered, Private H. H. Knauff, with 05, topping the list. The visitors were most hospitably treated by the local residents. The following are the detailed scores:— MANGOREI RIFLE CLUB.
