THE ATTITUDE OF THE TEACHERS.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At a meeting to-night, in support of the .Jiblc in Schools movement, address is were given by Bishop Sprott, Rev. Vindin (of Sydney), Canon Garland l Rev. J. Kei»e4y. The latter, in criticising remarks made at a recent opposition meeting in Wellington, thought that public schools teachers were becoming too prominent in opposing the Bible-in-Schools movement. It was time that teachers were told that the schools were hot made for jthe teachers, but the teachers were made Jor the schools. A referendum should be taken on the queestion.
