The Rugby Union has granted the University permission to invite the New Zealand Universities to send a football team to Sydney. The match will probably take place on July 5. Thursday football In Inglewood is likely to be a dead letter this season, Our representative was informed by a member of the club yesterday that no teams would be entered in the Thursday competition at all. It had been hoped that In«lewood would be able to put in Thursday teams for the Junior competition, but even this has fallen through owing to the lack of town players. A team will, however, be available on Saturdays, as this team will be able to draw from the country players. The Oknto team to play Inglewood at Inglewood next Saturday will be as follows:—Corbett, O'Sullivan (2), Carey, White, Xgaia, Hawkins, R. Andrews, Burrows, Malone, Turner, Larsen, K. Andrews, Eustace and Surgenor.
