DEEP-SEA HARBOUR.
AT THE GREY OR POINT ELIZABETH. Creymouth, May I'2. Tit compliance with a requisition, signed by 270 parsons, the Mayor called a public meeting for the purpose of forming a Harbor League. There was a good attendance, and the meeting was addressed by Sir Arthur Guinness, M.P., who pointed out the necessity for a deep-sea harbor either at Greymouth or Point Elizabeth. A motion that a Tlarbor League be formed was proposed by Sir Arthur Guinness and carried unanimously. A strong provisional committee was set up to procure data relative to the Crevmoutli scheme. If this is not feasible, the Government or a syndicate will be asked to take up the 'Point Elizabeth scheme.
