SMALL-POX PATIENTS BOLT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Whangarei, Last night. Two sick natives were brought into town on Saturday. They were considered by a medical man who saw them to be in a condition justifying a suspicion of small-pox.. ' They were de spatched to the h ospital for treatment in the isolation ward, but though they presented themselves at the hospital entrance, they bolted when directed where to go. It is supposed that they have returned to their homos at Mangakahia. The Health Inspector has gone in pursuit, and the Health Officer from Auckland is expected to arrive to-morrow.
