South-westerly |fgales were reported this afternoon at, i&Oßort Ahuriri, Kaikoura and Akaroa pßgMhoTise, and also at Cape Maria Van gJDiemen. Forecast: Present indications pare for cold and changeable weather, jpiqually and showery in parts. The igtarometer is unsteady, hut with a rising lljtendency, and strong southerly winds IjWJI probably prevail.
