THE RECIPROCAL TARIFF.
MR. FISHER'S RETURN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last niglit. The Hon. F. M. Fisher returned to New Zealand by the Niagara to-dav. Interviewed, he said that the reciprocal agreement was signed. No details were available at present. The agreement had to he considered by Australia's and New Zealand's Cabinets, and they would then submit it to the two Parliaments. They had also entered into a joint pensions scheme for the purpose of awarding pensions. Residence in either country would be deemed residence in the country where the applicant resided for the twelve months preceding the application. They would also endeavour to make arrangements covering the circulation of Australian silver in New Zealand.
