ROUGH IN THE SOUTH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Invereargill, last night. Snow fell in the early hours of Saturday morning, and covered the ground to a depth of two inches. During Saturday there was occasional spells of sunshine, but the weather was cold, am! all sports fixtures were postponed. The Saturday half-holiday is now being observed by most professional and commercial firms in Invereargill. Retailers, however, continue to observe the half-holiday on Wednesday.
