j BOROUGH VALUATIONS: J The Assessment Court resumed its ] hearing of the objections lodged against the Borough valuations yesterday morning, Mr. A. Crooke, S.M., presiding. The following settlements between the valuer (Mr. C. T. Mills) and Mr. Corkill (representative of the objecting owners) were formally confirmed. I Emma Pearce, £99 to £BS. . J. and T. Mr. Mills applied for an adjournment until 10.30 a.m. on the 23rd inst., on which date, he intimated, it was antici- -- pated that finality would be reached. Tliis was granted, and Mr. J. H.
