This morning the Sun newspaper received a telephone call asking if they had heard anything of a, burglary at the residence of'Kerr,.a-bookmaker-at Coo, gee. The speaker declared himself to be the "King of the Thieves." The Sun communicated with Kerr, \vho, on exI ammination, found that his office had been burgled of £SO worth of postal notes and cheques. There was a note signed "King of the Thieves," on the table, thankinghimior some cigars that had been appropriated. A man has been arrested in the city with some of the missing property in his I possession.
