ANNUAL MEETING. ! - The annual meeting of the New Plymouth Harbor Board for the election of chairman was held yesterday. Members .present -were: Messrs J. B. Connett •(retiring chairman), Newton King, C A Wilkinson, M.P., E. Maxwell, C. E. Bellringer, D. J. Hughes and J. McCluggage. ( Mr. Wilkinson proposed, and Mr. Bellringer seconded,' that Mr. Connett be elected chairman for- the ensuing year. iTheWwas no other nomination, and the motion was carried unanimously. ;•: -Mr.-Connett briefly returned thanks and ordinary business was then proceeded: withr '■ Ib.-was'aecided.to'pJace the Board's accident insurance' risk for the ensuing twelve months with the New Zealand Insurance CompafTy.
