George, saxe-blue velvet, relieved with pipk; Mrs. Percy Webster, black silk, relieved with emerald green; Miss Rennell, black silk, with draped tunic .of pale pink ninon; Mrs. S. Cottier, wedgwood blue ninon, finished with cream lace; Mis. J. Avery, black silk taffeta,' deftly finished with rose pink; Mrs. Hall, dove grey silk; Mrs. A. iMiaa Stanford, who left several months ago to attend her sister's (Miss Olive Stanford's) wedding at Singapore, returned last Wednesday. The Misses Horrocks (2), of Auckland, *re the guests of Mrs. J. H. Quilliam. Mr. C. Gray, who has been on a holiday trip to Wellington on account of his health, has returned. : Mrs. James Wilson, who has been, the guest of her sister, Mrs. Gordon Praser, ias returned to Dunedin. _ , Mrs. Courtney, New Plymouth, i 3 visiting her son, Mr. Guy Shaw, of Thames. Mrs. Ken. Webster left yesterday for Mangaweka, where she will be joined by her husband, both finally leaving at the end of next week for America. .Mrs, Jack Morton (Napier), who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. R. Lusk, at ftemuera, has returned to New Plymouth.
