At tlie enquiry into tlie death of the girl Porter, Chard, a bread-carter, gave, evidence that he was very friendly with the family of the girl, and drove her in his cart twice. He never at any time made an appointment with her, and did not see her on the day she disappeared. He knew nothing about the cause of death. The coroner returned an open verdict, but agreed that it was not a case of murder. , . .
